Derek Kraus is driving the McAnally-Hilgemann Racing No. 19 Chevrolet Silverado RST for his third full season in 2022 – competing for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series title. The 20-year-old from Stratford, Wisc., finished 11th in the 2020 series championship standings – with three top-five and 13 top-10 finishes in 23 starts, including a runner-up finish at Darlington and a fourth-place finish at Daytona. Derek Kraus capped off his third season at Bill McAnally Racing by winning the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West championship for 2019.

In his three years at BMR, Kraus registered 10 wins, 8 poles, 28 top fives and 33 top 10s in 42 starts in K&N West Competition. In addition, he had three wins, two poles 12 top fives and 15 top 10s in 18 starts in NASCAR IK&N Pro Series East action. Along with winning the K&N West rookie title in his freshman season in 2017, Kraus was named to the NASCAR Next class of 2018-2019. He also made five starts in the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series with BMR. He finished eighth at Phoenix Raceway, in one of four starts he made in 2019. Kraus began his racing career as a 7-year-old, competing in the Wisconsin State Go Kart Series in 2008. From there he moved up to the Midwest Bandolero Series. He later transition to the Midwest Truck Series and eventually into a Super Late Model. He made his debut in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series at the beginning of the 2017 season.
